Philemon B. Weldu
Philemon Weldu is a creative professional who is aspiring to be a social media marketer. Philemon is a former student at the University of Guelph-Humber. He is a 2024 graduate of the Media and Communication Studies program and he specialized in Digital Marketing and Social Media.
My Story
In his life, Philemon has always made sure to be an active member of his community. He has participated in former university clubs and activities including Humber Global Affairs, GuHu, etc and community events like TIFF, elections, and more. Whenever possible, Philemon aspires to be an essential member of the community by helping where possible. Philemon’s interests lay in his love of creativity and utilizing creative ideas/art with technology to help make a difference and raise awareness. He loves marketing and using all of his skills to help others. He often uses Adobe Creative Suites to create digital art in his free time. As a queer person of colour, he hopes that he can lay a new perspective in the industry and make a change in the world.
Mission Statement
As a person who strives to always improve and help others, my mission is to always use the skills and abilities I have learned to help better society. Marketing, media, and technology can truly make an impact in improving the lives of others. I am passionate about the idea of using tech and media to build a community that can make a lasting change. So, as my personal mission, I am dedicated to using my current marketing path to help support the less fortunate and make the world a better place for all.
